Can we meet you?

My name is Ajanigo Inikpi Simeon, I hail from Okete, in Dekina LGA, kogi state, born to the family of a Retired Police officer, in Kabba, western part of Kogi state. Am 3rd in the family of 7, was brought up at police barracks in Warri, Delta state. Am a student of international Relations at the LES, COS SONU university in cotonu, Benin Republic. 

Am a Nollywood Actress and filmmaker, Writter, a Business woman, Interior Decorator, Textile dealer, am the CEO of Ajanigo Bliss Ltd and humbly the Founder of AJANIGO BLISS FOUNDATION. 

With our research, We discovered that you've done so much for the state youth, in-terms of empowerment; Can you brief us about the jobs done, so far?

 

Am a product of Grace and giving to the less privileged is the story of whom I am and where am coming from. I am a daughter of a retired police officer and a road side woman Akara Baker. I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth, I grew up selling Akara and hawking all sorts of goods morning and night, in rain and shine in all the villages, towns and cities that transfer necessarily took my father to. I ate, like my other siblings, all manner of food made from beans as the best we could afford. I never. Hard the luxury of Christmas clothing like the privileged ones nor enjoy pleasure ride in cars to school or recreation sports. I attended afternoon Government primary school sitting on bare floor to take lessons. In fact, my school experience did not differ extensively from what most pupils suffer in public primary school.in.many of Nigeria today. In all this I heard DREAM of GREATNESS but did not phantom how and when it will materialize. But by providence I now know the How and by the same hand of Providence the WHEN has been determined. 

It will amount to disservice to God and humanity not to share the little grave of God upon me through my talent and open Door. That is how the idea of AJANIGO BLISS FOUNDATION came. The foundation is the heart and goodwill project which seeks provide succor and stand in the gap for people with physical challenges and street children across kogi state and Nigeria who lack the privilege of being anybody in the Society or being in the class for the big future ahead.

The maiden Edition held on the 3rd of October 2015, at Reverton Hotel lokoja, where I gave out 50 wheel chairs and 30 clutches. An event that was well attended by the then governor of Kogi state Capt. Idris Wada and his Wife Hajia Halima Wada, the first lady, chaired by Dr Ibrahim Wada (OON) with over 10 serving Commissioner, house of assembly members, other Government Functionaries, top nollywood colleagues and a whole lots of guest.

. This is a big reality you actualised; so what really inspired you to follow up this successful dream?

Am inspired by the plight of those people and the journey of my life, my second inspiration comes from my uncle who runs an orphanage home in Otutulu village, somewhere in Dekina LGA and my frequent visits there also gave me a reason to share my little seed with the less privileged. 

 

You are a Nollywood star, and the believe is that is not easy to climb the lather to the celebrity status that you are right now; so can you tell us how you walk up to this success? 

My story is so different from so many other people in the industry, I heard a long childhood Dream of Been like GENEVIEVE NNAJI, as I used to write letters to anybody going to lagos to give to her thinking that lagos was a house or a small place. As fate will have it, the long journey started, made some few initial movies which was not a success in all rounds but finally I met a Marketer, by Name MAZI Uchenna, the owner of Sea world movies on a set when I visited a friend, he told me I would make a good actress, the gave me a small role and I did and today the rest is history! 

Which movie is your best and why?

That would certainly be the BLIND ORPHAN!!! That is my success story, that is my name, very challenging but also brought out my best and laid a solid foundation for my Acting Career. Please, check the movie out and you would have more insight. 

 

What is Ajanigo Bliss Production all about?

Ajanigo Bliss Production is a subsidiary of Ajanigo Bliss ltd, it's the production Arm of my business, we are in to production of movies, documentaries and TV series.

 

Ajanigo Bliss Production and Sea World Movie conducted an audition for upcoming actor and actresses, this is an avenue for upcoming to become Nollywood celebrities too; will you explain extensively in details, What the Project Audition was all about?

 

 The Audition was on 1st of April, 2016 in anyigba. Kogi state and that is to give chance to other aspiring Actors to fulfill their dreams especially those from Kogi state or that lives in Kogi state, that are far from the big film cities like Lagos, Abuja, Enugu, Asaba, Awka,.Owerri, etc. It's my little way of contributing to their upbringing and creating Brand Value for My state Kogi. It is been Done in partnership with Sea world movies.

Aside the Audition; what re we expecting soon from your goodie bag? 

After the Audition, Casting will follow and the shooting proper will commenced, all of that we hope to achieve in the month of April, the movie will be shot on locations in kogi state entirely, it's a project to Sing a song of unity for NY Dear state, our working title is CRACK! It will bring in a whole lot of top class Nollywood professional blending with the new Actors. Then after that sometimes time in the year, it will be the second Edition of AJANIGO BLISS FOUNDATION outreach again in a yet to be decided State within the middle belt.

A lot of people look up to you as a role model and many fans, what do you have to say to them?

My fans are simply the best, for your love, believe, support and prayers. Thank you, your little girl here will continue to work hard to make you more happy. Thank you once again for choosing me. To those looking up to me, you heard my story, you can also get to where you wish to, work hard, pray harder be humble.
